He is still waiting his international debut while this is his second international tour with national team. He will helpful for Pakistan Team with his off break bowling which is very effective. Another young player Aamer Yameen also included in Pakistan squad in the replacement of injured all-rounder Anwar Ali.

Pakistan won both low scoring T20I's against Zimbabwe at Harare after fantastic bowling performance especially left-arm Imad Wasim. He took 5 wickets in the series with the economy rate of almost 3 and also scored crucial 32 runs including 4 boundaries. He claimed Man of the Series award due to this all round performance.
